Rescue Startup and Background

Reba’s Rabbit Rescue began with one small rabbit who needed a safe place to land. Reba was adopted by someone who could no longer care for her, and when she came into our lives, everything changed. Caring for Reba opened our eyes to the gentle, intelligent, and deeply misunderstood nature of rabbits. What started as love for one rabbit quickly grew into a calling.

Since Reba, we have welcomed dozens of rabbits from a wide range of situations — including neglect, abandonment, laboratory settings, and families who could no longer provide the care their rabbits needed. Each rabbit arrives with a story, and each one deserves a second chance.
